If you are looking for a fancy pants cookbook- with a high gloss finish and big ol’ pictures on each page- then look elsewhere. This book is more of a resource- that includes recipes (sans photos)- that every family should have in their home.
We make it a top priority in our home to feed our family healthy, nutritious, real food recipes at every meal. But, I also know that life happens and sometimes we all get a little tired come supper time, right? Right. Sometimes mamma and/or daddy just need a little break at the end of the day.
A fact of life is that life gets busy for all of us- no matter what type of life we lead. This book teaches you how to plan ahead, so that when you need something quick you aren’t tempted to go through the local drive thru. I absolutely fell in love with this book for that reason alone. Come on- we’ve all been there. Just the thought of having to cook something at the end of a busy day is enough to make us stop at the local drive thru- even though we know it is not nutritious or healthy. This book will stop you (or tempt) you from making that stop!
