Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop Y’all…
We have been so busy on the farm this past week. We have been experiencing extreme temperature changes- 30s in the morning and 80s in the afternoon. Because of this we lost all of our seedlings that we started in the hoop house. Mountain Man said he was done. Just done. It’s too much work and many many failures. It was really tough hearing him say that because he is not the type of man that ever complains. EVER. But- no worries! He was just having a bad day and we are already back at it. Sometimes you just need to take a step back, breathe, and start over. This week we will be tilling up our “open” garden to plant our garlic. This will be our first year planting garlic and we are so excited!
On to the hop…
Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday and is for all things homesteading: real food recipes, farm animals, crafts, DIY, how-to’s, gardening, anything from-scratch, natural home/health, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, natural remedies, essential oils, & more! Basically anything related to homesteading.
